Charity Brunch & Runway Show Invitation

The purpose of this assignment was the create an invitation for an exclusive event. The requirements were for it to include a minimum of two folds, a complex die cut, and one special finish (silver foiling). The size also had to be regular mailing and include an rsvp note and an envelope to mail it back.

My invitation was for a charity brunch and runway show for Textile Exchange, which is an organization that works with the textile industry to cut back on practices that are dangerous to the environment, and the runway show featured Rag & Bone's pre-fall 2015 collection. I chose to reference the Arts & Crafts movement because I thought that Rag & Bone's philosophy was similar to the Arts & Crafts movement in the way that it is mainly about having great craft. Also, Rag & Bone's collection references old englishmen pajamas, which is where the idea of brunch came from, but also reminds me of the time that the movement was happening. 

The textures were chosen because of the textures in the collection.
